Question: Why does my automatic trans have only 2,3 and r gears
Trany only works in second (manual shift) and drive. Does not appear to slip. It is an automatic overdrive with a 4.3 v6 engine.
Thanks for any/all help.

You can have it scanned
Sounds like a or 1-2 solenoid
Failure.
