Question: low brake fluid

On my 2001 Montana , The console message - "LOW BRAKE FLUID" pops up in red every now and then. The manual suggests topping up the brake fluid. I took it to the GMC dealer and according to them the brake oil level is good but the rear brake cylinders are leaking and need replacement. Additionally the dealer is also recommending changing the front brake pads and turning the drums. Price tag - prohibitively EXORBITANT

Need advise from the experts on this forum on how much is a reasonable cost for the dealer recommended job.

TIA,
-Saaa
